Kyochon Chicken among so many brands
We have tons of Chicken franchises in Korea. I don`t know why.
But if you search on map, you can easily find chicken diverse Korea chicken franchises.
Actually there are about 90,000 of fired chicken joints in Seoul.
It means you can see any fried chicken joint 1~1.5km around you wherever you are.
Among So many chicken franchises,
today i want to introduce a brand 'Kyochon Chicken that has their own distinctive taste.
Kyochon Chicken in my memory
Back in 2000s when i was an elementary student, Kyochon was just about to start their business as one of so many Korea chicken brands.
They were actually off brand Korea chicken brand. Though they are now number one brand in Korea chicken franchises.
The biggest reason of success of Kyochon is of course their marketing strategies.
They did a lot of marketing but one thing that i still remember is that they gave us a piece of chicken in front of school for free.
A piece of chicken was too small amount to taste it.
So what happened? We went straight home and ask our mother to order in Kyochon Chicken. Because we want more Kyochon.
And i believe this kind of promotion makes position of today`s Kyochon Chicken.
Introducing signature menu of Kyochon Chicken
Then they are only good at marketing?
No they actually cook fried chicken very well in their unique recipe.
They have their own color and taste in making fried chicken compared to other Korea chicken brands.
So i will introduce some signature menu of Kyochon Chicken.
Kyochon original (soy-sauce)
First signature menu is original fried chicken that make position of today`s Kyochon.
It`s made of soy and garlic sauce. So it`s savory and you can feel soft garlic taste as well.
Kyochon honey combo
Second signature menu of Kyochon is Honey series.
It is made of Kyochon original sauce with honey. So everyone including western side like Kyochon honey series. In Korea, we usually enjoy this fried chicken with spicy tteokbokki.
Because the combination of sweet and savory chicken and Spicy tteokbokki is very addictive.
Kyochon Red
Last menu that i want to recommend is Kyochon red series.
As you see the word 'red', it is spicy chicken. But of course the base is Kyochon original (soy and garlic sauce)
So if you enjoy spicy food, give it try.
Plus, every menu can be changed as boneless. So If you are so tired to debone,
order them boneless.
