Because i will show you one hotel 'Lescape' that i have been few month ago.
It`s not a sponsored or advertisement. It`s just 100% out of my pocket review.
So i hope my posting will be helpful for you to decide where to stay in Myeongdong Seoul Korea.
Price? And tips for affordable purchase
First, I want to talk about the price of hotel Lescape.
Since if the price is not acceptable for pre-traveler, it is meaningless to explain location and great things about hotel.
As of standard room per night, Price for Lescape hotel is about 250,000KRW on Sunday to Thursday. (as of now, about 180 US dollars.)
And It`s about 300,000KRW on Friday to Saturday. (as of now, about 217US dollars.)
Plus, I think you want to get a good deal on it through various promotion or special offer. In my case, i used Korea accommodation APP 'Yeogi' and i get 20% of discount including room upgrade for free.
It should not be an 'Yeogi' for reservation. Just use any APP or website that you are familiar and good at and find the cheapest way.
The prices and tips that i said is just nothing but my experience among lots of examples.
So i want you to consider my opinion a specific criteria to check if it is affordable or not.
But my personal opinion is that price is cheaper when you purchase in Korean accommodation APP like 'Yeogi', 'Yanolja'
How to get Hotel L'Escape?
It takes about 3minutes to Hotel Lescape from Heohyeon Subway station Exit7.
So i could say accessibility is great.
Hotel Lescape is actually closer from Heohyeon Subway staion than Myeongdong station. But Its just 5minutes walk to Myeongdong main street from Lescape and that is the reason that i recommend this hotel for travelers who want to stay in Myeongdong.
If you look at the photo below, its easier to understand how close is Lescape to Myeongdong main street. Red circle all is Myeongdong area.
Real review of Hotel L'Escape out of my pocket
If you decide to stay in Lescape, First you have to do is of course check-in.
Hotel check-in is open at 3p.m on 7th floor. I don`t know early check-in is possible or not.
It takes a quite time until check-in. So pass over the front desk then you will see a large drawing room. And i think it is really good spot to kill time waiting for check-in.
When i visited there, many guests are hesitant to look around drawing room.
It was good for me. since i had afford to take a look.
There is no extra charge to enter drawing room.
So you don`t need to hesitate. The only thing you have to do is just to walk in.
And take a photograph. Actually it is great place to take a pic of the day.
Review of Hotel Lescape's room condition out of my pocket.
The atmosphere of room is overall somewhere in 19s century.
And actually interior including all lights and bedding is designed as modern french style.
So first impression that i face the room of Lescape is like that i fall in to novel or webtoon that have modern Europe background.
And of course bed is really comfortable and size is also enough for two.
So if you want some special accommodation that give you a new experience,
I think Hotel Lescape would great choice for you.
