Off-the-beaten path for foreign travelers

Whenever i pass over Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, i can see many foreign travelers which make me feel proud that Korea is continuously getting known as a famous travel spot. 

But you know seeing people in Hanok village being stuck in the crowd is hurt..
Because it is not the only place to take a look around in Jongno. 

So i will fix you up another place to visit in Jongno. 

Traverse Ikseon-dong Hanok village for hidden spot

Many travelers just stay around Hanok Village. 
But why don`t you pass through Hanok Village, continuing some blocks. 
Then you would find some stonewall walkway along Jongmyo Shrine which look like some kind of palace actually. 

Exact or detailed ways to Seosulla-gil would might be a little different from where you start so i recommend you to use google map. (search Seosulla-gil)

Stroll along Stonewall walkway

So if you arrive here, just walk along the walkway to the end of the road. by looking around traditional Korean style path with many modern stores on the other side. 

Take some photograph in the background of stonewall or taking many stores as background would be a great choice. 

The most important thing is that you look over stores that catch your eyes and you have to remember them.
So you can stop by when you come back from the end of the road. 

Take a look around some workshops and general stores  

So it is time to come into the stores that you scanned while you walked along stonewall.

Jewelry, fragrance, crafts or handicrafts, There are various of artists and workshops. 
You can either purchase them or ,to some of workshops, you can even take a one-day class. Though, language stuff might be problem if you and owner of workshops can`t communicate in one specific language. 

But i think just taking a look around many crafts and jewelry would be great enough to make you feel like you are traveling real Korea Seoul. 

There are also some eateries 

I think you are having a real shot of getting hungry because Seosulla-gil and Jongno palces are quite large to walk around. 

Fortunately, we can find some eateries and cafe around Seosulla-gil.
So why don`t you try or come into some bistro that looks great.
Plus, you can have outdoor seating if the weather is great, which is actually really great spot for taking some photo.
