Seoul city bike 'Ddareungi'
If you ever visited in Korea lately, You can see a of people are riding bikes on all over the road. As Seoul city run public bicycle business on their own, People can borrow bike at really reasonable prices. And it makes many people ride bike a lot compared to past.
Some of travelers might be interested or they might want to experience city bike since it is actually really useful especially when you move obscure distance to walk or take transportation.
So i want to share the information about how to use Seoul city bike 'Ddareungi' from App download to payment.
App download
The first thing we have to do for borrowing bike is of course to download the application named 'Ddareungi'
The app can be downloaded from Google play or App store.
Just in case that you are having some trouble finding the application, i insert link to
'Ddareungi'. So you can easily find and download the application.
The application looks like below photo. So be careful not to download a wrong application.

Purchase a Ticket
If you complete to download the application, the next step is to purchase a ticket.
Please follow below guide, then you will find yourself already purchased a ticket for borrowing bike.
1) Open the application, then select 'foreigner'
2) Click the menu button at the left-top side of the application
3) Then choose the 'Purchase pass' (non-member can also buy a ticket)
4) After you read the guidance of Seoul Bike, Choose one of the rental pass.
*Personally, i recommend 'One day 1hour pass' which means you can use Seoul bike within every one hour a day.
For example if you borrow your bike at 12:00, then you should return it until 13:00 and then you can borrow it again for an hour. you can borrow it until your pass is verified.
5) fill out your e-mail address and agree to terms and conditions.
*your rental information will be sent to your e-mail.
6) Then pay amount through your credit or debit cards.
Rent city bike 'Ddareungi'
If you complete purchasing a 'rental pass', the screen would be changed like upon photo.
'Rent' button will be activate which we can use to borrow Seoul bike 'Ddareungi'.
Then find the location where Seoul bikes are placed.
You can find where bicycle is placed through map that 'Ddareungi' app is offering.
If you see the below photo. blue circle is showing where you are at and green sign things are representing where bicycles are parked.
After you arrive at bicycles are, open the application and scan the code placed it back wheel.
Congratulation!! Now you are officially Seoul bike 'Ddareungi' user.
