Hot spot for foreign travelers to see the night view.
Last weekend, i went to the whole area of Youngma Hill to look at some apartments that will live in.
I was roaming around the whole Youngma Hill reign and i found something really interesting.
That is there are a lot of foreign travelers in Youngma Hill area way more than i expected.
Technically saying, i didn`t even expect that i can see many foreign travelers there.
Cause it is nothing special compared to Gangnam or Hongdae.
But it takes only a few minutes to find out the reason that many foreign travelers visit Youngma Hill area.
It is because that you can watch great night view on Youngma Hill peak.
And it takes about 20minutes to get there.
So today i will show you how to get the place 'Youngma HIll peak' from Yongmasan subway station.
Finding Exit 1 of Yongmasan subway station
The first thing we have to do to get the night view-spot is that we go out of the exit 1 of Yongma subway station.
When you get out of the station, the uphill is waiting for you.
Go in red circle direction. And make a left.
Yeah it`s right. We have to go upstairs and then you face a little flat road, go straight until get to the entrance of Yongma waterfall park.
So far so great. We are almost night view. Well begun is half done.
Cutting across the parking lot in Yongma waterfall Park
Before i navigate you, i would like to show a whole-brief-course so that you can easily find the way to night view-spot. It starts from the red circle point to the end of the right side.
Let`s get back to the entrance of Yongma waterfall park.
Please enter the park by waking uphill then you can see parking lot.
Cross the parking lot passing through restroom.
Now you see sort of narrow road surrounded many trees.
Then keep walking until you find waterfall.
waterfall would be so tempting that it slip your mind to get to the night view-spot.
But we have to pull ourselves together. Our purpose is night view.
Heading to Jungnang Dulle-gil (basket ball court)
Stand with your back toward the beautiful waterfall, Then go straight to the next stage.
Keep waling along the trees, You can find a sign like above photo, then head to Jungnang Dulle-gil(basket ball court)
It takes about 5 minutes to the basket ball court which is a real entrance of Yongma Hill (night view-spot)
Many people are embarrassed about nowhere-to-find-any-entrance thing.
But don`t worry and go to the other side of the basket court, where you can find a real starting point to the night view-spot.
Heading to Jungnang Dulle-gil (peak)
Now the only thing you have to do is just to go up following the sign to Jungnang dulle-gil (peak). That`s all there is.
About 15minutes-walk will get you deck stair area. And here is our destination.
