Personal Best 3 Banh mi joint in Hanoi Vietnam

Some Banh mi joints in Hanoi, Vietnam

Bnah mi in Hanoi

The meaning of traveling somewhere include the experience that we try some food we never had before.

Vietnamese food, especially Banh mi, is kind of food that i can`t imagine because i never have experienced that bakery.

I was even a little worried that Banh doesn`t go for me.
But as soon as i took a bite of Banh mi, i come to realize my how unnecessary my worries was.

The combination of various stuffs in Bahnh mi such as cilantro, pate, mince makes great taste. And surprisingly it costs only under 1 ~ 2 U.S dollars.

then I think it would be useful if i share information about some Banh mi places that i try and tasted good. So If you plan on Hanoi travel or if you are off to Hanoi soon please refer to the below lists.

Banh Mi Paté

The scenery of Banh mi pate

First place that i want to show you all is a small bistro 'Banh Mi pate' placed near Night market.

You might think "is it really bistro?"
because they are totally outside and they don`t even have proper building or stores.
But there is a saying we don`t have to judge something by what it looks like.
And this saying exactly goes for this bistro.
It`s the best Banh Mi place that i have ever experienced.

The things that distinguish this bistro from other are the soft bread and savory pate. There are a lot of Banh Mi restaurants in Hanoi but Banh Mi pate is different. they are beyond delicious.

I visited this bistro everyday while i was staying in Hanoi.
I tried almost all of their menu and my favorite is the 'pate, omelette, pork and ham'.

Plus, the most expensive banh mi menu is just 30 ~ 35k which is about 2 U.S dollars.
Yeah it`s pretty reasonable. isn`t it?

So if you stay around Night market in Hanoi. Or you have plan on visiting around Night market. It would be great choice to stop by Banh Mi pate for light meal or refreshments.

Banh mi 25

Banh mi 25's Banh mi

Second restaurant i would like to show you is placed around Hanoi old quarter beer street. It`s called Banh mi 25

It looks like they have an annex right across the street facing each other.
The one place is for to-go customers. they were making Banh mi for take away.
And the other place is for customers who like to dine in.

The interesting point about Banh mi 25`s Banhmi is that they have bunch of carrot slice on it. And it is not weird.
Additionally, their seasoned meat topped on banhmi taste like Korean bulgogi which is well in harmony with other gradients.

Different thing of Banh mi 25 from other places is that they have some DIY Banh mi menus, which they get you some bread and pan with various gradients like meat and vegetables on it.
Then you can have it as you want. You can make it a mini Banh mi or You can have it separately.

It would be an interesting and memorable point to chew on them which menu do you want to pick.

Banh mi B+

Banh mi B+

Last one that i want to show you is a small restaurnat called Banh mi B+.

I think it`s a standard Banh mi, which you can actually have this level of banh mi everywhere in Hanoi.
Their prices are really affordable and Their toppings are compact not too much or less.

It looks nothing special than typical Banh mi. Why do i reccommend it?

Because they run thier stroe late night. maybe they are open until almost in the middle of midnight or next day of 01:00.

So if night comes and you start to feel a little starving, especially craving for Banh mi. But there is no restaurants opeining. Then Banh mi B+ would be great option for you.

And given that situation, there is no more restaurants opening, the taste of Banh mi would feel more delicious than they actually are.
